Here comes the angst! I knew it was coming, but still! Don't hurt the poor sunshine!

There were way too many obvious death flags and talk about death that it was practically calling for murder time. Even Sanzo was so done with it when Hazel showed up in the room (which is a total mood, slamming the door at ppl you don't want to deal with). And darn was the flashback with Hazel and the priest guy uncomfortable, the way he called him an angel and was way too close to his face... yikes. The moments when Goku's power limiter breaks are the most heartbreaking ones and from the looks of it, we are getting it pretty soon and of course they had to throw in that sad piano music from the first series so saiyuki veterans can ugly cry for the rest of the week.

I know its not my 1st time watching (since gunlock) but with it being closer to the manga its going to likely be even harder on the feels.
I just need to fast forward to next week or maybe the week after next.
Heck I'll fast forward to the end of the season for a binge watch & then feel the agony of waiting for an announcement of another Saiyuki anime.

That was a really good episode, I love the Gojyo x Hakkai interaction, and then that bit with Sanzo x Goku was OOOH O__O ... makes me happy watching this.

But I still feel like something in the plot is still missing...

Kougaiji, Dokugakuji, & Lirin are missing.
Their antics were a good laugh. I feel like this time is when the mother and doctor started more higher wack experimentations on Lirin that's when you start to see less of them.
I don't remember though been so long the story's so long. I know Ukuko did have a bigger prescence around the same time though, using Lirin was a part of bringing back her father if I remember correctly.

Dokugakuji is dead. At the last season's anime, He Died Protecting Kougaiji from Nataku's attacks. It was the same in the manga too.

Shouldn't he be immortal like Sun Wukong? This cliffhanger doesn't really work.
But I appreciate the lesson about the importance of life.

Goku x Sanzu moments are my favorite by far ^.^
